I created this Black and White Image of a Silverback Gorilla at a local Zoo. It is also known as the Mountain Gorilla or the Eastern Lowland Gorilla. The Silverback Gorilla is a form of Great Ape found in African mountain ranges where habitat destruction and unlawful hunting have caused it to make the Endangered Species lists of several countries. I am a Wildlife photographer whose medium is digital photography. As a photographer, my primary focus is wildlife photography wherever I can find it. Wildlife has an amazing capacity to show up or exist nearly anywhere, be it city or country. Nature has provided animals with an almost unbelievable ability to adapt and exist with whatever changes man makes in their environment.
