This eastern Tiger Swallowtail was doing it's usual flying insect antics, but, paused long enough to give me this wildlife photograph. The eastern Tiger Swallowtail is a very common butterfly all along the east coast. It is known to produce up to three broods per season. It is also one of the larger types of butterfly. It is my intention to show you just how beautiful the outdoors that surrounds really and truly is. It is my greatest desire to be able to show you the awesome beauty of nature that surrounds us each and every day.
I am a Wildlife photographer whose medium is digital photography. As a photographer, my primary focus is wildlife photography wherever I can find it. Wildlife has an amazing capacity to show up or exist nearly anywhere, be it city or country. Nature has provided animals with an almost unbelievable ability to adapt and exist with whatever changes man makes in their environment. Of course nature itself can change at least temporarily the environment and still the animals adapt and survive in the new conditions. Currently all of my photography is conducted in the central Florida area. I have a strong, lifelong interest in nature and wildlife as well as the occasional domestic animal.
