Description
I created this nature photograph of what I believe is a Lipstick Flower at the Canaveral National Seashore during a one day nature shoot there. The Canaveral National Seashore is a great place to create a nature photo and has a large number of locations to do so. The bright red color and shape of the flower is a possible reason that this plant is called a lipstick plant. It has a bright red and waxy look that resembles a tube of lipstick. I believe that it is also commonly called a Fire Bush here in central Florida.
