This wildlife photograph of an Osprey Feeding in a tree was taken at the Circle B Bar Reserve near Lakeland Florida. This very large Bird of Prey is commonly known as a fish eagle. To take a wildlife picture similar to this I would suggest that you look for a dead tree or broken tree snag near a body of water that opens up good visibility for both you and the fish hawk that you want to photograph. To me it appears that a local Osprey will return frequently to certain trees that allow it good visibility to keep other predators from stealing it's meal.

Wildlife has an amazing capacity to show up or exist nearly anywhere, be it city or country. Nature has provided animals with an almost unbelievable ability to adapt and exist with whatever changes man makes in their environment.
