I am a Wildlife photographer whose medium is digital photography. As a photographer, I am entirely self educated using books from the local library and internet resources to achieve my current level of skill. Currently all of my photography is conducted in the central Florida area. My dominant interest in photography is wildlife photography. I have a strong, lifelong interest in nature and wildlife as well as the occasional domestic animal. Many of my photographic models are animals such as whitetail deer, american alligators, wild boars, squirrels, and raccoons. Many a wild animal has fallen prey to my camera lens. I also photograph local birds, such as Sandhill Cranes, Great Blue Herons, Anhingas, Cormorants, and Limpkins to name a few. I also thoroughly enjoy macro photography of insects such as the orbweaver spider, butterflies and dragonflies. The most common butterfly can be the most problematic for me due to their flighty nature. Many people may find my images of spiders moderately scary. I am also practicing landscape photography even though my area of Florida does not generally lend it's self to sweeping vistas for landscape pictures. Most of my "landscape pictures" and landscapes tend to be of lakes and other bodies of water. I also get enjoyment out of artistically photographing the ubiquitous automobiles at the local automobile shows. My final area of interest is photographing aircraft of all types.
