I created this macro photograph of a Mayfly on a dock at Indian Bluff Park on August 2, 2017 while waiting for the solar eclipse to occur. Indian Bluff park is near Eutawville, South Carolina and is also on the banks of Lake Marion. The mayfly's were perched all over the dock and seemed disinclined to fly away, which made creating this macro photograph very easy.
