While my family and I were eating our picnic meal on the beach of Honey Moon Island on June 20, 2015 we were under nearly constant threat of having the sandwiches taken from our hands. In fact I lost a sandwich I had just taken a bite out of and the gull brushed my head with it's body to get it.
About Christopher Mercer
I am a Wildlife photographer whose medium is digital photography. As a photographer, my primary focus is wildlife photography wherever I can find it. Wildlife has an amazing capacity to show up or exist nearly anywhere, be it city or country. Nature has provided animals with an almost unbelievable ability to adapt and exist with whatever changes man makes in their environment. Of course nature itself can change at least temporarily the environment and still the animals adapt and survive in the new conditions. Currently all of my photography is conducted in the central Florida area. I have a strong, lifelong interest in nature and wildlife as well as the occasional domestic animal.
