I took a day trip to the Honeymoon Island State Park on June 29, 2013. The weather started out foul in the morning as I was driving from home to the state park, with cloud to ground lightning. I nearly turned around and went home. I am glad that I did not do that. I would have missed the opportunity to line up this shot of a series of concrete footers leading into the storm tossed Tampa Bay.
