I took a day trip to the Honeymoon Island State Park on June 29, 2013. The weather started out foul in the morning as I was driving from home to the state park, with cloud to ground lightning. I nearly turned around and went home. I am glad that I did not do that. Sometimes the images just have to be seen to be believed.

I am a Wildlife photographer whose medium is digital photography. As a photographer, my primary focus is wildlife photography wherever I can find it. Wildlife has an amazing capacity to show up or exist nearly anywhere, be it city or country. Nature has provided animals with an almost unbelievable ability to adapt and exist with whatever changes man makes in their environment. Of course nature itself can change at least temporarily the environment and still the animals adapt and survive in the new conditions. Currently all of my photography is conducted in the central Florida area. I have a strong, lifelong interest in nature and wildlife as well as the occasional domestic animal.
