I captured this wildlife image of an immature Barred Owl at the Circle B Bar Reserve in Polk County, Florida on March 12, 2015. It was still in down and I am not sure that it can fly. The Adult Barred owls were in nearby trees. This wildlife image is my personal work and is covered under copyright and other intellectual property laws.
I am a Wildlife photographer whose medium is digital photography. As a photographer, my primary focus is wildlife photography wherever I can find it. Wildlife has an amazing capacity to show up or exist nearly anywhere, be it city or country. Nature has provided animals with an almost unbelievable ability to adapt and exist with whatever changes man makes in their environment. Of course nature itself can change at least temporarily the environment and still the animals adapt and survive in the new conditions. Currently all of my photography is conducted in the central Florida area. I have a strong, lifelong interest in nature and wildlife as well as the occasional domestic animal.
