Playful Manatees Canvas Print

I captured this wildlife photo of Manatees playing at the Manatee observation deck on Haul over canal in the National Seashore. Manatees are sometimes also called Sea cows or Sirenians. They are a large marine mammal that is normally non aggressive and may weigh up to about 1300 pounds. They are an endangered species and in need of protection. The Canaveral National Seashore National Park is bounded on the north by Apollo Beach and the John F. Kennedy Space Center to the South. The Merrit Island National Wildlife Refuge is also south of it.

I am a Wildlife photographer whose medium is digital photography. As a photographer, my primary focus is wildlife photography wherever I can find it. Wildlife has an amazing capacity to show up or exist nearly anywhere, be it city or country. Nature has provided animals with an almost unbelievable ability to adapt and exist with whatever changes man makes in their environment. Of course nature itself can change at least temporarily the environment and still the animals adapt and survive in the new conditions.
