I shot this wildlife image of a Raccoon on March 14, 2016 at the Circle B Bar Reserve near Lakeland, Florida. It had been down on the ground foraging when I first saw it and then climbed this tree to preen and groom before going to sleep. This wildlife image like all of my work that I post here is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

I am a Wildlife photographer whose medium is digital photography. As a photographer, my primary focus is wildlife photography wherever I can find it. Wildlife has an amazing capacity to show up or exist nearly anywhere, be it city or country. Nature has provided animals with an almost unbelievable ability to adapt and exist with whatever changes man makes in their environment.
