I captured this photograph of an adult Sandhill Crane alongside the Wading Bird Way trail at the Circle B Bar Reserve in central Florida on March 27, 2015. What makes this image kind of unique is that it had just pulled some type of egg out of the ground and was carrying it in it's beak before eating it. Apparently this bird thought it was a special treat that it was not sharing with it's mate.This image is another of my copyright protected images.

Wildlife has an amazing capacity to show up or exist nearly anywhere, be it city or country.
