I took this picture on the Heron Hideout Trail at the Circle B Bar Reserve in central Florida on a foggy morning just before Chrismas of 2017. I seldom actually get the chance to shoot on a foggy day because they usually don't happen on my days off from my "real job". Note: On July 18, 2018 I substituted an upgraded image that I feel looks better. It is the same original file, just better edited in the Polarr editing software.

I am a Wildlife photographer whose medium is digital photography. As a photographer, my primary focus is wildlife photography wherever I can find it. Wildlife has an amazing capacity to show up or exist nearly anywhere, be it city or country. Nature has provided animals with an almost unbelievable ability to adapt and exist with whatever changes man makes in their environment. Of course nature itself can change at least temporarily the environment and still the animals adapt and survive in the new conditions.
